Lou gives his favorite MLB prop picks for tonight over at RT Sports!

SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA - MARCH 20: Shohei Ohtani #17 of the Los Angeles Dodgers hits a single in the 3rd inning during the 2024 Seoul Series game between Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres at Gocheok Sky Dome on March 20, 2024 in Seoul, South Korea. (Photo by Chung Sung-Jun/Getty Images)

At RT Sports, there is an amazing daily fantasy pick’em game where you can choose different props for a chance to win money! Pick at least two props, select “more” or “less” on each prop, submit the picks, and you’re good to go! Below, you will find my favorite props/picks for today/tonight’s slate of games. You can choose just two props or choose them all and make it into one big parlay!

This Weeks Record: 6-8-1

Last Weeks Record: 12-8

Past Nine Weeks Record: 93-67-7

Royce Lewis MORE than 6 Fantasy Points

Lewis has missed a lot of time this season with injuries; however, when he’s healthy, he is one of the most productive players in MLB. In 49 games this season, Lewis has 15 HR, ten doubles, 31 runs, and 38 RBI. He has also walked 20 times. He puts up fantasy points on nearly a consistent basis, and I like his matchup tonight against Cardinals SP Andre Pallante. Pallante has a 4.07 ERA this season with a 1.32 WHIP and is a RHP which is noteworthy because Lewis has 11 of his 15 HR against righties and seven of his ten doubles against righties.

Shohei Ohtani MORE than 1.5 Total Bases

He is more than capable of getting multiple hits in a game, which would, of course, win this prop, but why Ohtani is so fun to bet on with total bases is that he is an extra-base hit machine. He has 29 doubles, 39 HR, and six triples this season, and for those of you who don’t want to do the math, that’s 74 XBH, and he has done that in 125 games. If you average it out, it means Ohtani gets an XBH in more than 50% of his games, which is simply incredible. He is expected to face Tyler Alexander and the Rays tonight, which, on paper, is a good matchup, considering that Alexander has a 5.17 ERA and 1.28 WHIP this season.

Ryne Nelson MORE than 5 Strikeouts

So, I will start by saying that because he is pitching in Fenway tonight against a good Red Sox lineup, I do worry that he will get hit hard early and not go five or more innings, which will hurt our chances for this prop. With that being said, I cannot ignore what Nelson has done in his past eight starts. He has struck out five or more batters in seven of them, and in his past four starts, he has been even better. He has struck out 31 batters in 25.1 innings during that time with no less than six strikeouts in any of the starts and as many as nine strikeouts in two of the starts.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. MORE than 6 Fantasy Points

I have been playing the Vladdy fantasy points a lot over the past month, and it’s proven to be very profitable. That’s probably because he is batting .400 with 25 runs, nine HR, and 21 RBI over the past 30 days and has bumped his season numbers up to 75 runs, 33 doubles, 26 HR, 81 RBI, a .316 avg and a .390 OBP. He has a great matchup tonight, too, facing the Angels horrible bullpen and their starter, Jack Kochanowicz, who has a 6.53 ERA and 1.60 WHIP this season.
