This Weeks Record: 4-4

Last Weeks Record: 6-5

Past Five Weeks Record: 48-32-5

Rafael Devers MORE than 7 Fantasy Points

Devers is a premier hitter in a lineup that has been hitting well, and he gets to play in Coors Field tonight. He also has a great matchup, facing RHP Cal Quantril. Devers is batting .286 this season with a .370 OBP, 23 HR, 20 doubles, 63 runs, and 63 RBI. Another benefit to him facing the Rockies is that even once Quantril is out of the game, the Rockies pitching staff is very beatable. They rank 30th in ERA, WHIP, K/9, and BAA.

Gunnar Henderson MORE than 0.5 Runs

Henderson is having an MVP-caliber season in 2024. Through 99 games, he is batting .287 with a .373 OBP, 28 HR, 19 doubles, five triples, 81 runs and 63 RBI. He has added 14 SB as well. His power, his elite OBP skills, and his great base running set him up to score plenty of runs, and as the Orioles lead-off hitter, his chance of scoring a run any night is even higher. Today, he faces RHP Edward Cabrera, who has a 7.36 ERA and 1.67 WHIP this season, so the Orioles lineup should produce a lot of runs.

Gerrit Cole MORE than 6.5 Strikeouts

Cole wasn’t sharp in his first couple of starts this season. He returned from a long absence and needed to get into a rhythm. He has been much better over his past three starts, though, striking out seven or more batters in each outing, and he reached six-plus innings finally in each of his past two outings. In his past 12 innings, Cole has allowed just two ER while striking out 15 batters, and that success should continue tonight at home in the Bronx.

Ryne Nelson MORE than 3 Strikeouts

I am not a big believer in Nelson, but he has been pitching much better as of late. Even in a difficult matchup vs. a good Royals team tonight, we cannot ignore that Nelson has allowed one ER or less in three of his past four starts and has struck out at least five batters in his past three starts. He has struck out three or more batters in five straight starts, so I am feeling confident in his ability to record three or more tonight.
