Lou gives his favorite MLB props for today at RT Sports!

ARLINGTON, TX - SEPTEMBER 5: Jose Altuve #27 of the Houston Astros runs the bases after hitting a solo home run against the Texas Rangers during the third inning at Globe Life Field on September 5, 2023 in Arlington, Texas. At RTSports, there is an amazing daily fantasy pick’em game where you can choose different props for a chance to win money! Pick at least two props, select “more” or “less” on each prop, submit the picks, and you’re good to go! Below, you will find my favorite props/picks for today/tonight’s slate of games.

Jose Altuve MORE than 6 Fantasy Points

Altuve has been excellent this season. He’s batting .307 with a .367 OBP and has hit for power, too, with eight HRs and ten doubles. He has seven SBs this season as well and scores plenty of runs, with Kyle Tucker and Yordan Alvarez hitting behind him. He’s also in a great matchup tonight against Reid Detmers, who has allowed 22 ER in his past 20.2 innings.

Ryan Weathers LESS than 5 Strikeouts

Weathers has been pitching pretty well lately; however, the big strikeout numbers haven’t been there. Since his 10-strikeout performance on April 16th, Weathers has five or fewer strikeouts in every outing and three or fewer in three of those outings. He faces the Brewers tonight, who rank in the middle of the pack in strikeouts over the past week.

Shohei Ohtani MORE than 8 Fantasy Points

Ohtani is one of the best hitters in the game and is having a monster first season with the Dodgers. He’s batting .353 with a .423 OBP, 13 HR, 16 doubles, 36 runs, 33 RBI, and 11 SB. He racks up fantasy points in so many different ways, which is why he is also a good bet to reach eight or more. He is also in a good matchup tonight, facing Joe Mantiply of the Diamondbacks. Anytime you can take Ohtani against a SP who isn’t an ace, it’s worth it!

Dean Kremer MORE than 4.5 Strikeouts

He is having a very good season for the Orioles and will look to continue his success tonight against the Cardinals. The Cardinals have struck out in over 25% of their at-bats over the past week, and Kremer has at least six strikeouts in three of his past four starts, including two 10-strike performances.
