MLB has completed its first five weeks, with big storylines ready to take focus. We are approaching the time of the year when numerous players start to find their groove and top prospects start receiving their calls to the Major Leagues. Below is a breakdown of Week 6’s top 10 catchers.

1. Carson Kelly, Chicago Cubs

Kelly is coming off a rough stretch but continues to lead MLB catchers with 18 RBI.

2. Cal Raleigh, Seattle Mariners

The past month has seen Raleigh go on a power surge and lead MLB catchers with nine home runs.

3. Sean Murphy, Atlanta Braves

Murphy’s power supply has helped him reach seven home runs and 13 RBI.

4. Logan O’Hoppe, Los Angeles Angels

O’Hoppe added another home run last week. He’s slashing .280/.299/.573 with seven home runs and 12 RBI.

5. Shea Langeliers, Athletics

Langeliers’ breakout season continues. The Athletics’ catcher has five home runs and 12 RBI.

6. Will Smith, Los Angeles Dodgers

The Dodgers dodged a bullet with Smith’s wrist issue as he’s slashing .328/.430/.531 with three home runs and 15 RBI.

7. William Contreras, Milwaukee Brewers

Contreras broke out of his early-season slump, totaling three home runs and 15 RBI.

8. Ivan Herrera, St. Louis Cardinals

Herrera does not have an official timetable for his return, but the hope is for a fast return to the hot streak he opened the season on.

9. Miguel Amaya, Chicago Cubs

Amaya and Carson Kelly are on a 50/50 timeshare behind the plate in Chicago. However, Miguel Amaya has produced well, slashing .278/.298/.500 with two home runs and 14 RBI.

10. Hunter Goodman, Colorado Rockies

Last week, Goodman broke out of a slump and raised his season total to four home runs and 11 RBI.
