Getting to a Super Bowl is much different than being good during the regular season. We have seen many great regular season teams falter when the playoffs roll around and some teams that don’t perform that well during the season but excel in the playoffs. Here are the 10 teams with the best chance to make the Super Bowl as of week 16.

Bills

After scoring more than 40 points and losing to the Rams in week 14, the Bills scored 48 in week 15 on the road in Detroit and beat the NFC-leading Lions. They are the top team in the league right now and if Josh Allen continues his elite play and doesn’t turn the ball over, the Bills could go all the way and win it.

Lions

This is the first time in many weeks that they aren’t in the top spot. They lost head-to-head to Buffalo, and their injuries on defense are really starting to take their toll. They may not even get the top seed in the NFC anymore which will make it harder for them to reach the Super Bowl.

Eagles

They got their pass game going again and won a big game against a good Steelers team. They have a chance at grabbing the number one seed in the NFC now, too, after the Lions lost. If they can get that top seed and the bye week that comes with it, the Eagles could be the NFC representative in the Super Bowl.

Chiefs

Their defense is great, and it has been all season, but their offense doesn’t seem to be at a championship level. Come playoff time, they usually figure it out, but right now, it is a weakness. The best record in the AFC doesn’t make them the best team in the AFC right now or the favorite to win the AFC.

Vikings

They have been great all season long and continue to defy the odds and silence the doubters. They even have a shot at winning the NFC North and getting a first-round bye as the top seed in the NFC. Even if they end up being a wild card team, they have proven they can win football games. Sam Darnold vs. elite teams will be the ultimate test.

Packers

They lost a tough one in Detroit in week 14 but bounced back in a big way on the road against a good Seattle team in week 15. They are destined for a wild card spot in the NFC but are a good enough team to run the table and win 3 road games to get to the Super Bowl.

Ravens

Coming out of their bye, they looked rested and healthy and dominated a team that they were supposed to. The defense was great. Lamar Jackson threw for 5 TD, and they have a chance to catch the Steelers in the AFC North. They will be a tough out for any AFC team and have the roster to make a deep playoff run.

Steelers

They played the Eagles close in the first half but ended up being no match for them. The defense isn’t playing at a high level, and they really miss George Pickens. They are in the postseason already; the question will be how they play once the playoffs begin. They need their defense to win them games.

Rams

ARLINGTON, TX – OCTOBER 29: Matthew Stafford #9 of the Los Angeles Rams drops back to pass during an NFL game against the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium on October 29, 2023 in Arlington, Texas. (Photo by Cooper Neill/Getty Images)

After a huge upset win over the Bills in week 14, they won a tough game against the 49ers in week 15 and look like a scary team right now. With Stafford and McVay running the show, the Rams can beat anyone in the NFC and should be feared by any opponent in any stadium.

Bucs

They put up over 35 points against one of the top defenses in the league. Bucky Irving was healthy, Mike Evans is fully healthy, and Baker Mayfield is playing elite football. Their offense is good enough to win them any game, the question is whether they can stay healthy, lock down their division and get better defense.
