This Thursday Night is a huge matchup between the Denver Broncos and the Los Angeles Chargers; this matchup has massive implications for the playoffs. Whichever team comes out on top gets a giant win, the Broncos would clinch a playoff berth, and the Chargers would get one step closer to clinching their own playoff berth with some help from some other teams.

Justin Herbert Over 32.5 Pass Attempts

The Chargers had a massive loss of Jk Dobbins in week 13, causing the offense to transform into a pass-first offense. Over the last 3 games of no Dobbins, the Chargers have only ran the ball 17 times per game, combine that with one of the best rush defenses in the entire NFL, and that is a recipe for Herbert to be using his arm.

Courtland Sutton Over 63.5 receiving yards

Cortland Sutton has been scorching on the field over his past 7 games, hitting over 70 receiving yards for 6 out of those 7 games. In the most important game of Bo Nix’s career, as any rookie quarterback will do, he will lean on his best offensive and most trusted player.

Ladd McConkey Over 5.5 Receptions

McConkey has become stronger and stronger as the season has gone by; he has hit the reception line of 5.5 over his last three games. While Quentin Johnston will be seeing one of the best corners in the NFL, McConkey will have the opportunity to eat off-screen passes and quick pitch and catch with Herbert, especially with a reliable option of Will Dissly being out.

Expecting a high volume passing game with quick passes and two teams doing everything to win, the trusted players on the team are expected to shine, McConkey and Sutton are the beneficiaries of this.
